Wednesday, October 2-- International Walk to School Day
October 6, 2002, Arroyo Fest Freeway Walk and Bike Ride -- Caltrans has agreed to close portions of the 110 Freeway to automobiles for a day! Pedestrians and bicyclists will have an opportunity to join together in a 1.6 mile walk on the northern section of the 110 Freeway in order to demonstrate alternative transportation choices to the automobile.
